Will
God allow man to settle on other worlds? |

| Man
has visited the moon but has not yet been able to settle there.
Within the next few decades it is possible he may have the
resources and technology not only to construct a permanent
settlement on the moon but also on Mars, and already we are
hearing of plans to achieve this. However, it would seem the
Bible indicates that the Lord ill not allow this for Scripture
confines God’s dealings with men in the last days to the
earth. The fact that man is close to being technologically
capable of such things would indicate that the day of the Lord’s
intervention cannot be far away. As He intervened in the day of
Babel’s tower, so Scripture teaches He will also do this in
the last days. There are many Scriptures that might suggest that
we are living in the end times and this is another indication
that the day of the rapture of the church cannot be far away!
