CREATIONISM BIOLOGIST LOSES JOB
A leading biologist who claimed that Creationism should be taught in school science lessons has lost his job at the Royal Society as a result. The Rev. Professor Michael Reiss, who was the national science academy’s director of education, as well as a Church of England minister, suggested last week that science pupils should learn about the idea that evolution is wrong and that Earth is 10,000 years old.

SON OF HAMAS LEADER BECOMES A CHRISTIAN
The son of one of the most revered leaders of Hamas, the Palestinian Islamist group, has renounced his religion to move to America and become an evangelical Christian. Mosab Hassan Yousef said his decision to abandon his Muslim faith had exposed his family to persecution on his home and endangered his own life. It was after a chance encounter nine years ago with a British Missionary that Mr. Yousef began exploring Christianity. He found it ‘exciting’ and began secretly studying the Bible.

BBC HAS BANNED ME BECAUSE I‘M CHRISTIAN
A best-selling children’s author has accused the BBC of barring him from its programme because he is a Christian. G. P. Taylor who has sold millions of books worldwide, claims that a producer at the corporation told him they couldn’t be ‘seen to be promoting Jesus’. G. P. Taylor says that he has been the victim of political correctness that favours minority religions at the expense of Christianity, a claim which the BBC denies.
