The Title ‘The Christ’ in Ephesians

This title is used twenty-one times in this Epistle: I. 10 – Head up all things in “The Christ”.

1. 12 – Pre-trusted in “The Christ”.

2. 5 – Quickened with “The Christ”.

2. 13 – The blood of “The Christ”.

3. i- Prisoner of “The Christ Jesus".
3.4- Mystery of “The Christ”.

3.8- Unsearchable riches of “The Christ”. 3. 17 - “The Christ” may dwell in our hearts.

3. 19 – The love of “The Christ”.

4. 7- The gift of “The Christ”.

4. 13 – The fulness of “The Christ”. 4. 15 – Who is the Head, “The Christ”.

4. 20 – Have not thus learnt “The Christ”.

5. 2 – Even as “The Christ” loved us.
5. 5- Kingdom of “The Christ”.

5. 14 - “The Christ” shall shine on you. 5. 23 – As also “The Christ” is Head. 5. 24 – Subject to “The Christ”. 5. 25 - “The Christ” also loved the church.

6. 5- Obedient, as unto “The Christ”.

This title, “The Christ”, belongs to the highest office in the universe, Eph. 1. 19-21. As Christ has this exalted position, the Church will move with Him, intelligently and affectionately as His holy Consort in relation to the administration of the vast universe.
