Stepping stones … through the Bible day by day

This is a book to support and encourage daily Bible reading and prayer. It is for children aged 6-13 years. The format is a memory text, a suggested reading that takes you through the major parts of the Bible in a year, an application of the biblical story and suggestions for prayer.

There are a dozen or more contributors to this book from across the UK, all of whom have experience of working with children. It has been expertly compiled and edited by Ian Rees and the beautiful illustrations are the work of Honor Ayres, a well known illustrator of children’s books. The text used is the NKJV and the daily meditations are written in a style acceptable to children and young people. The whole book is intended to surprise and delight as well as edify young minds. Of course, it is important that children learn the word of God, but, at the same time, this book aims to make it enjoyable for them. There are few other books of this type that make the word of God central to what is taught.

This book will be an investment in the spiritual welfare of our children and grandchildren and may be the means of bringing some to know and love the Lord and encourage further those who already do so.
