No one could read through the New Testament without appreciating how much of it is built upon and develops types and principles that are first revealed in the Old. One example was the Lord's use of the book of Deuteronomy to provide His answers to the testing by the devil. Yet, for many, a significant number of such passages are neglected. Through a daily reading taken from the first five books of the Old Testament, this book encourages Christians to explore the Pentateuch, to appreciate its types and to apply its lessons.
